Ninevolt is an instrumental song-set bathed in emotional connections to retro gadgetry and future biologies.

The music often starts from a single note, developing and expanding into electronic orchestration and clouds of harmonies while the cello dives in and out with obsesive melodies and grity timbres.

This minimal ode breaks new ground in modern music for its dance like rhythms for which Vega is known for. A passion for unique orchestrations, a real hope for the future and a desire to set new trends in music and art.

With this CD Vega presents a body of works from the chamber repertoire that is unique in language and style, giving us his vision for music that identifies with contemporary emotions and intelectual ramblings.

The music often touches on practices such as religious intoning and spoken-word. These practices were internalized to compose an original vocal and computer language that drives Vegas Wormsongs and its message. The songs strip the ideas of lyrical lines, replacing them with automatic instruments triggered to match an equally automatic vocal part brilliantly performed by Anat Spiegel.
